Terms of Service
Last updated: October 27, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Echoverse Online Tutorial Services when you use EV Learner at evlearner.com. By using EV Learner, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy notice and our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
1. Who we are
EV Learner is run by Echoverse Online Tutorial Services, a sole proprietorship registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Email: [email protected].
2. What EV Learner is
EV Learner is a free learning check for learners in Grades 2 to 10, built on the skills of the revised K to 10 MATATAG curriculum. After a check you get a report by skill and free practice packs. Teachers can use the teacher toolkit: lesson plans, activity sheets, slides and tests that use credits.
EV Learner is an independent service. We are not affiliated with the Department of Education (DepEd), and DepEd has not endorsed or approved EV Learner.
We may add, change or remove subjects, grades and features. We will not take away anything you paid for during the period you paid for.
Teacher Giya is an animated character. Her voice in our videos is AI-generated.
3. Accounts and learners
- You do not need an account to take a check. To save results, you sign in with your email and a one-time code.
- You must be 18 or older, and the parent or legal guardian of the learners you add, to make a parent account.
- A learner is a profile under your account, never an account of its own. Use a nickname for each learner, not the full name.
- Keep your email account safe. Anyone who can open your email can sign in to EV Learner as you.
- Give true details, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
4. Children use EV Learner with a parent or guardian
- A parent or guardian should start the check, read the start screen with the child and decide what to save.
- Only a verified parent can save results, add learners or ask for a tutor. Children never ask for or join sessions with their own account.
- If you are under 18, use EV Learner only with your parent or guardian.
- Tutoring is not open yet. Before it opens, these terms will describe how tutor sessions work, including the safety rules. Using EV Learner for online sexual abuse or exploitation of children (OSAEC) or for child sexual abuse or exploitation material (CSAEM) is banned under RA 11930, and so is any contact with a learner outside EV Learner and the sessions EchoVerse arranges. A breach means immediate suspension, preservation of the records and a report to the authorities. We may block an account and report it when we believe a child is at risk. Report any concern by email to [email protected] with "Child safety" in the subject.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or bulk-download questions, answers, reports, practice packs or other content, or use bots or automated tools to collect them;
- sell, resell, rent or republish our content, including posting packs, workbooks or answer keys in online groups, file-sharing sites or online stores;
- use our content to train or test AI models;
- try to get answer keys, break into accounts, or get around our security, usage limits or password-protected areas;
- enter another person's data without their permission, or enter false information;
- send or upload anything unlawful, abusive or harmful, or anything that puts a child at risk.
We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. If the break involves a paid item, we may cancel access without a refund. If a child may be at risk, we report it to the proper authorities as RA 7610 and RA 11930 require.
6. Our content
The checks, questions, answer keys, reports, practice packs, workbooks, teacher toolkit materials, illustrations (including Ubay), and the EV Learner name and logo belong to Echoverse Online Tutorial Services or the people who license them to us. They are protected by the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (RA 8293).
You may print and use the free packs and anything you buy for the learners in your own household. Teachers may use toolkit outputs as described in section 8. Any other copying, sharing or selling needs our written permission.
Learning competencies and their codes come from public DepEd documents. We cite them so you can match practice to school lessons; they remain DepEd's.
Copyright notice. Copyright © 2026 Echoverse Online Tutorial Services. All rights reserved. Our copyright covers each question, pack and lesson set, and also the collection as a whole: how we choose, order, word and match the skills, questions, answers and test windows to the school calendar.
No scraping. You may not use bots, scripts, crawlers or other automated means to access, copy, index or download EV Learner content or any part of the service, or to make accounts, except for search engines indexing our public pages. We may block such access, close the accounts involved and keep records of it.
No resale. You may not sell, resell, license, rent, republish or give away our content, or anything made from it, whether free or paid, printed or digital, in online groups, marketplaces, file-sharing sites, review centers or apps. Each printed or downloaded copy may carry a licence line and a trace code that identifies the account it came from.
If you use our content against these terms, we may end your access and keep any credits or purchases used for it, ask platforms to take the copies down, and take any other action the law allows, including under RA 8293 and RA 10175.
7. Payments (when paid features open)
The learning check, the report, the practice tests and the free review packs are free. Full review packs, teacher lesson plans, lesson sets and tests, and tutor sessions use credits, and the price shows before you confirm. Credit prices are introductory prices while EV Learner is in beta. Credit top-ups, when open, are paid with QR Ph only: each pack shows its price in pesos and the credits it adds before you pay, and credits you buy never expire. If we make a mistake, such as a double charge, you choose a refund to your payment or credits; other refunds are made in credits, as our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains. We plan to offer workbooks and printed copies, and later a board-exam reviewer. When they open:
- EV Learner credits are a prepaid licence to use the products and services Echoverse Online Tutorial Services sells in EV Learner. Credits are not money. They have no cash value, earn no interest and can be used only with us. You cannot withdraw them, exchange them for cash, sell them or move them to another account. Credits you pay for never expire, and free and earned credits are used before them.
- Prices are in Philippine pesos (PHP) and are shown, with any shipping fee, before you pay.
- Payments are processed by PayMongo, our payment provider, through GCash, Maya, debit and credit cards, and QR Ph. We do not see or store your full card or wallet details.
- You get a receipt by email after payment is confirmed. Digital items open in your account or arrive by email.
- A purchase gives you a personal licence to use the item as described in section 6. It does not transfer ownership of the content.
- Refunds and cancellations follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
8. Teacher toolkit
- Anyone 18 or older who teaches or tutors learners may sign up with an email code. When you sign up you declare this, and false details can close your account. Tutors who teach families through EV Learner tutoring are independent contractors vetted by EchoVerse, sign in with two-step sign-in and follow the Tutor Code of Conduct.
- Your name and school print on the files you download. Only EV Learner can correct them, so check them before you save.
- New teacher accounts get 100 free credits at sign-up. Free credits are given once per email address, even if you delete your account and sign up again, and not to temporary or forwarding email addresses. Lesson plans, full lesson sets and tests are unlocked with credits, and the price shows before you confirm. Introductory prices while EV Learner is in beta. Free and earned credits have no cash value, and nothing is charged automatically. Credits you buy and credits you earn never expire. Free credits we give you (early access, goodwill and tier credits) last 90 days, and the date they end shows in My credits. At most 2 tutoring sessions a month can be paid with free or earned credits; after that, a session is paid with credits you bought.
- Every teacher account can use the whole toolkit as soon as you sign up, the test maker (answer keys) included. If an account misuses it, for example by sharing answer keys, we may close the test maker on that account and tell you why.
- You own what you write in the toolkit. Our underlying materials, items and templates stay ours, and we give you a licence to use them.
- You may use what you make in your own classes, print it for your learners and share it within your school. You may not sell it, sell the items in it, or upload our item pool elsewhere.
- Drafts may be made with AI help from our materials. Check, edit and approve every draft before you use it in class. You are responsible for what you teach and test with.
- Using the toolkit does not mean DepEd has reviewed or approved your materials.
9. What the check is and is not
- The check is practice. Its results are not a school grade, a diagnosis or an official assessment, and they do not replace your child's teacher.
- Results show how your child did on the questions answered that day. Use them to choose what to practice next.
- We check our content carefully, but mistakes can happen. Tell us at [email protected] and we fix them.
- We work to keep EV Learner running, but it may be down at times for maintenance or outages. The free service is provided as it is.
10. Limitation of liability
We are not liable for indirect losses, such as missed opportunities or decisions made based on a practice result. For paid features, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the item concerned in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394), or our liability for fraud, bad faith or gross negligence.
11. Governing law
These terms follow the laws of the Philippines. Please contact us first; most concerns are settled by email. If we cannot settle a dispute, it goes to the proper courts of San Jose, Antique. This does not stop you from filing a complaint with the Department of Trade and Industry or the National Privacy Commission.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We change the date at the top, and for important changes we tell signed-in users by email or on the site before the changes apply. A purchase follows the terms in force on the day you paid.
