How do I get started?
- Open evlearner.com/teacher.
- Sign up with your email. We send you a 6-digit code, so there is no password to remember. It takes about a minute.
- Pick your grade and learning area.
- Open the term planner and choose a skill.
Lesson plans, activity sheets and slides
Open a skill and you get three things that match each other: a lesson plan, an activity sheet and slides. Lesson plans and activity sheets download as Word files and slides as PowerPoint, so you can edit them before class.
A term planner built on the Budget of Work shows where each lesson fits in the term. Review each lesson and adapt it to your learners and your school before you teach it.
Test Maker
Choose the skills you taught, and the Test Maker builds a summative test from them. Each test comes with a table of specifications, Versions A and B, and answer keys. Review the questions before you use the test with your class.
Free item analysis sheet
After you score a test, type in how many learners got each item right. The free Excel sheet shows your hardest items, the three skills where your class needs the most help, and your class's Mean Percentage Score, with a link to the lesson plan and activity sheet for each skill. It takes counts only, never learner names. Sign in with your email to download it. You can read the full guide on the item analysis sheet.
What is free, and what uses credits?
The item analysis sheet is free after you sign in. EV Learner is in beta, and early accounts get free credits. Some toolkit items use credits, and you can top up when you need more. The site shows what each item costs before you use any credits.
